Covey’s 7 habits


One-line summary of the “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen Covey. Not Suggestions you apply to various situations in your life, but Habits that become you.

  1. Be pro-active: Know the space between stimulus and response.
  2. Begin with the end in mind: you decide what your highest priorities, goals and values are.
  3. Put first things first. Live by your priorities. Do what you intend to do.
  4. Think Win-win: think in terms of mutual benefit and mutual respect
  5. Seek first to understand. Then to be understood: get into the head and hearts of other people. Becoming sensitive and aware of the situation before attempting to be understood, influence others,or make decisions or jusgments.
  6. Synergize: Cooperate
  7. Sharpen the saw: constantly renew yourself.
