Picked up Joe at his house. Went to Il Porcini. It’s my favotiet itslian place in Fremont. I jhad some port already before going there. Just to be in a good mood. The owner recommended a chianti classoci and it was good. smooth, mellow …

we had carpaccio for appetizer. and bread and oilive dressing.,
i had my longp-awaited cioppino. God knows how long i’ve been wanting to eat this. and no one wants to accompany. Thenwe ordered the enxt wine. The owner said it’s a special reserve wine. He only has a case. What is the name? i forgot … but i have the bottles. It was real good too. The smell of it. Of my god. One of those wines you just need to smell. No need to actually taste it. I didn’t know the price. But heck. I got my bonus cjeck on friday. The tab can’t be more than $700 anyway. better not.

The ciopinno was good, but i wasn’t in the mood to brak up those claws to get to the meat. So i just slurped the sauce. And aaaaah … drank the wine.

I also had the porto, Fladgatre. and it was ont he house. even the dessert was on the house. The owner turned out to be turkish …not italian. He looked italian, with an italian accent. Oh well … both have a T in there … and the food was good as always.
Went back to Joe’s house. And had this shot. Boy was it strong. I couldn’t answer Aurelia’s quesrion. It did n’t taste strong, but the after taste ….

So I’m home. And feel like walking on clouds …. Tina is not home. At co Chau’s tonight.

Thinking of my friend Bich-Lan. Why can’r she be happy and enjoy life with her husband? why so much fighting because of the ego. I need to take a walk and smell the brisk air. Maybe tonorrwo morning …
