This is Chau’s new creation. She used only crab. I use both crab and shrimp. Very good as leftovers.
- Ingredients
- 3 crab legs or 1 whole crab. Remove the meat.
- 1/2 pound raw shrimp
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 onions cut in small pieces
- 1 box mushrooms
- 1/2 c Whipping cream
- 1/2 c White wine. Sauvignon Blanc.
- 1/2 box of fettucine. I tried the Fettucine from Safeway and I think it’s better than Whole Grain.
Directions
- Boil a large pot of water. Add some salt and olive oil. Add fettucine. Let it boil softly for 9 minutes or whatever the instructions are. Strain.
- Using high heat, heat a large skillet. Add olive oil. Onions. Garlic.
- Add shrimp, season with salt.
- Add crab.
- Add mushrooms.
- Add cream. Cook for 2 minutes. Add wine.
- Then add fettucine. Stir. Add some salt. Go light, because the crab is salty. If need more sauce, add cream and wine. It should be somewhat saucy when you’re finished cooking. The sauce will be absorbed into the pasta.
Serve with grated or shaved mozzarella cheese.
