- Rice- washed, drained.
- Simmer rice w/ water, salt, chicken bouillon, ginger slices.
- Heat up oil. Add dried hành phi to oil. When golden, add ground pork. Break up the pork.
- Add meat to rice porridge. Before serving, mix up some cornstarch with water. Add to porridge. This will keep the rice and broth from being separated.
Serving Options:
Shrimp: Before serving, add shrimp. Top with green onions, black pepper.
Fish: Use catfish. Sliced thin, marinaded with fish sauce and oil. Add shredded onions and ginger.
