Erik B. introduced this drink to me over dinner at Spaghetti Factory. I was hesitant at first, seeing the green color. Sorry for doubting you, Erik!

Midori Sour and Margarita are now the standard drinks in our family. Women especially love it, because it’s almost like a dessert. It doesn’t taste strong, but it creeps up on you. Midori is a sweetened alcoholic mix with melon flavor. Go with 1 part Sweet Sour Mix if you like stronger alcohol.

Add ice first to the glass. Then add Vodka, Sweet Sour Mix. Pour Midori in last, to have the seeping effect of green Midori.

• 1 part Midori
• 1/2 part Vodka
• 2 parts Sweet Sour Mix (or make your own lemonade )
• Ice
