To be, or not to be

The most obvious things in life obviously don’t seem that obvious. To me, at least. I guess it’s easier not to see the obvious. Because then I would have to give it some thoughts, to act upon it, to face it. It’s just a lot easier not to see things. Less painful.

Life is not a dress rehearsal. Someone said that to me many times. Some chances come to us once if we’re lucky. Should we take it or leave it? What’s keeping you from taking it, what’s holding you back? Whatever is keeping you back sure is an added weight to you swimming on your journey towards your horizon … is it worth changing your course?

If all rivers flow out to the same sea, meaning all journeys will end up in death, does it matter which course the river goes? Would you rather be a smooth, straight-forward giòng nước trôi lững-lờ ngòai nắng? Or a river curving through plains and valleys, exploring every nooks and crannies before jumping off to the sea from a high cliff with a big bang? Is it the right thing to do, to throw in an obstacle to change the course of the river, or to build a dam to hold it from flowing? To be concise, can anybody change the course of life of another?

Easy decision yet tough solution. Everyone is entitled to his/her own pursuit of dream and happiness. But how does one let go?
