First rain of the season starts today, with Santa Cruz leading at .80 inch of rain.  I woke up early (7:25 is early for me) and peaked out the window hoping to catch the rain. How disappointing! The cement had already dried off. There was not even any faint smell of the earth. After 6 long, dry, and hot months, we couldn’t even have an inch of rain? Come now! Time to do the Rain Dance. Either that, or as my friend BL mentioned, we all need to sing “Trời không mưa, anh cũng lạy Trời mưa”.
