One sure thing I love most about France is the fresh foods. It seems that every sizable town here has a Les Halles: Lyon, Montpellier, Toulouse, Narbonne. Besides the covered markets that are open maybe 6 days a week, there’s also open air markets at least once a week. Note that most markets here are open at about 8:30 – 1:00pm.
I wish I had a bigger kitchen with all my ingredients. The Lotte fish would be so good in Canh Chua Cá. And I would make Pho Gà with the chicken with deep yellow skin. And I will have a different pastry everyday.
